Proper Care & Disposal

of your Manabrush.

Manabrush is not just another toothbrush. Our bamboo toothbrush is compostable or you can reuse the high-quality bamboo.

Disposal and reuse of the

compostable handle.

You can easily disassemble the bristles from the organic bamboo handle. After you have done that you can simply compost the bamboo handle or reuse it. The bristles are not biodegradable yet. The problem we have with recycling the BPA-free bristles is that they are too small and lightweight for recycling.

The good news is that we drastically reduce plastic pollution because of the bamboo handle. We are working on bristles that are biodegradable. You can dispose of the bare bamboo handle in a commercial composting bin. The bamboo handle will safely return to the soil within 6 months.

Your eco-friendly bamboo handle

Bamboo is a natural material that will fade over time. The bamboo part that goes in your mouth may begin to appear lighter and faded with use, this is normal and will not affect your brushing experience.

01. Cleaning the bristles

You can wash and care for our BPA-free bristles just like how you used to with plastic toothbrushes. Our bristles last as long as conventional plastic toothbrushes.

02. Store in a dry area

Our bamboo toothbrush keeps best when kept in a dry area. We do not recommend using enclosed cups that collect water. It’s best to keep your Manabrush in an open-air holder or other dry areas.

03. Replacing

Our ecological bamboo toothbrush will last just as long as a conventional plastic toothbrush. Dentists around the world recommend replacing your Manabrush every 3 months, or when the bristles have frayed.
